Autodesk Revit
In this course, we use Autodesk software (Revit and Inventor). All Autodesk software is available to students for free. You can download any of these programs at the Autodesk student website.
For architecture projects, students will need to render photo-realistic images of the inside and outside of their 3D projects.. A tool is available online in the Autodesk Cloud that allows us to create these amazing renderings of our projects. In order to access this service with unlimited credits toward rendering, students must create an Autodesk student account at home (at school, the website detects our site license and won’t allow students to register their account as a student). Here are the steps to create this account:

- Click on ‘sign in’ on this website: https://www.autodesk.com/education/free-software/all
- As students registered with Autodesk, they will be able to download any Autodesk software for free.
- Choose Revit 2017 and download the software (you do not need to install the software, but downloading it links the student account with the Autodesk Education community, giving them unlimited credits for rendering).
